“ The clam chowder was decent and didn't make me want to eat another serving of clam chowder.. but the bread bowl itself was delicious and I devoured the whole bowl soon after finishing the soup. The location was pretty cozy and with ample seatings inside and outside. The food turnover was quick so you will get your food in minutes. I would honestly go back for the sourdough bread only. ”
“ Bf and I are visiting from San Diego, and he's never had SF sourdough before! The bread is a win of course. The dungeoness crab chowder was pretty good to me. Not something I'll be raving about, but it was good. The serving was pretty small though. You can tell it's also packed with corn to cut cost on the crab. We both got an iced vanilla latte, which was really good! Can't go wrong with Peet's coffee. Above everything, my rating is highest because of service. I think the lady behind the counter was the manager, and she was the most pleasant person ever for having a full lobby barely 20-30 minutes after opening! Each person was treated with care and kindness. Even though it was busy, she didn't make you feel like you were bothering her, which I have experienced in some places unfortunately. I loved her! There is plenty of seating, and of course because you're on the pier, sitting outside in the cold is perfectly balanced by some nice hot chowder. ”

They have plenty of seating space inside and outside and a great spot for group hangouts. Service is pretty quick where you place your order on the counter and wait for your turn to be called out for picking up food. ”

You will definitely not regret grabbing the clam chowder but I do recommend just ordering it in a bowl with a side of sourdough bread. The amount of clams in the chowder was amazing.
